Quantum Touch is a universal energy healing system that was devised by Richard Gordon in the 1980's, it's popularity is growing worldwide because it is easy to learn and do and has many testimonies to its success in healing. It is a hands-on treatment, although, as with any energy work it can be performed distantly. I find it difficult to explain in words what Quatum Touch is, it is more of a doest activity. The book, "Quantum Touch - The Power To Heal" by Richard Gordon explains what QT is far better than I can.
The benefits of QT is that it is a safe, powerful method, allowing the body to heal itself on all levels, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, by using different techniques I introduce the universal energy to the client and their body uses it however it needs to. Its a very personal treatment, everyones needs are different, no two treatments are the same. QT can be used with other healing methods or on its own. The client is clothed.
Reiki
There are several schools of Reiki Methods. I trained using the Tera-Mai method which was developed by Kathleen Milner (USA). Again this is a doest activity that is a hands-on or distance form of healing; it can be used on humans, animals, plants etc. Reiki treatment is very relaxing; using energy to allow the body to heal itself on all levels, and is personalised to meet the clients needs. The client remains clothed. Animals enjoy and benefit from both these methods of healing.
